Our Heritage

Persuing Photographic Excellence since 1952

Northern Suburbs Camera Club as it was know then was formed on 29th May 1952 at the Chatswood Town Hall. The club has a proud record and the quality of the club’s photography has always been considered one of the highest in NSW and perhaps even nationally.

Starting at Chatswood Dispensary Hall in 1952, the club moved to the Chatswood Congregational Church in 1956, St Andrews Church Hall Roseville in 1967, St Martin’s Church Hall Killara in 1979, Ku-ring-gai Community Centre in St Ives in 1992, Gordon Baptist Church in 1996, then St David’s Uniting Church in Lindfield (1999–present). Facilities at Lindfield have been progressively upgraded to improve sound quality, display lighting and digital image projection.
