🗓️ 1. General Competition Information

Category	Detail
Schedule	Held on the first Wednesday of most months, February to November.
Top Shot	Annual competition held on the first Wednesday of December.
Entry Types	Open (Any image) or Set Subject (Must address the subject).

🚫 2. Entry Limits and Eligibility

Entry Limits (Monthly):

• Total Per Member: Maximum of 3 entries.
• Maximum Per Section: Up to 2 entries in either EDI or Prints.

Image Eligibility:

• Originality: Must be based on your own original photographic image.
• Re-entry Limit: An image may be entered a maximum of twice in monthly competitions.
• Awarded Images: If an image receives a Merit or Special Merit, it is not eligible for further monthly competitions.
• Top Shot: All images (awarded or not) are eligible for the annual Top Shot competition.

📤 3. Submission Deadlines and Process

DEADLINE: Before 8:00 pm on the Sunday prior to the competition night.

All entries (both EDI files and a required EDI copy of Print entries) must be digitally registered by the deadline.

• Method: Upload all required files to the website via the Competition Entries page in the Member Menu.
• Late Entries: Will not be accepted.

💻 4A. Electronic Digital Images (EDI)

• Format: Must be provided in JPEG format only.
• Max Dimensions: Horizontal: 1920 pixels / Vertical: 1200 pixels.
• Color Space: sRGB (preferred) or no colour space.
• Max File Size: 2MB.
• File Naming: File name must include the exact title registered on your entry form (e.g., `Harbour_Bridge.jpg`).

🖼️ 4B. Print Entries

• Mounting: Prints must be mounted on mat board (window mount preferred).
• Digital Copy: An EDI copy of the print must be uploaded by the Sunday deadline (see section 3).
• Display Deadline: Prints must be placed on the display boards in the hall before 7:30 pm on competition night.
• Identification (Reverse): Your name and image title must be written clearly on the reverse side of the mount, matching the entry form title exactly.
• Safety Note: Glass must not be used in the mount.
• Size: No maximum or minimum size limits for the print or the mount.

⭐ 5. Annual Awards and Points

Annual Awards are based on cumulative points from monthly competitions (Feb–Nov).

Awards are given for the highest scores in each section and the aggregate total.

The Photo Gallery automatically records entries and mentions those awarded Merits.
