Description:	In this competition, you have the opportunity to share images that reflect historical photographic styles pre-1970s. This includes pictorialism, straight, abstract, surrealism, humanist, conceptual, social documentary, photojournalism and street. That's a very wide range of styles to explore. Every style has its strengths and challenges, which were driven by the technology, culture and events of the day when they emerged As you choose a style and then create the images to enter in the comp, ask yourself: 'Why do I choose this style? Does it resonate with me? Am a wedded to this style as being the only style for me? And if you answer yes to this last question, ask yourself why and what might you learn if you explored other styles.
