    Description: Sydney University and grounds
    Sydney University is the oldest university in Australia founded in 1850. The founding principle as Australia's oldest university was that it was to be a modern and progressive university, supporting students of all backgrounds to further their education, admitting students solely on academic merit, and opened their doors to women on the same basis as men.

    The sandstone buildings of the past now stand alongside the contemporary and modern buildings of today. 

    Suggested points of interest -  University Quadrangle, Great Hall, Old school of Medicine, Graffiti Tunnel, Charles Perkins Centre, Residential Colleges.

    We will meet at 10am at the Footbridge Theatre, near The Courtyard Bar Restaurant. 

    We will meet, back at the Courtyard Bar Restaurant at 12.00 for lunch.

    The train leaves Gordon Station at 8:54 am & arrives at Central Station at 9:24 am. As always meet in the second last carriage. From Central walk to Railway Sq, Stand M and catch bus 440 to University of Sydney Footbridge on Parramatta Rd.
