About NCP

Our Organisation

Northside Creative Photography (formerly Northern Suburbs Camera Club) has been serving photography enthusiasts on the North Shore of Sydney since 1952. It has a proud history which is documented here. We are a non-profit organisation run by volunteers. Our Mission

The aim of Northside Creative Photography Inc is to cultivate and broaden the photographic interests of its members, by exposing them to as wide a mix of styles and mediums as possible, and to provide education, guidance, competition and social interaction. Northside Creative Photography will strive to provide a relaxed, informal meeting environment free from any traditional constraints or limitation of photographic style.

Meetings

We meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month (except January) at Lindfield Uniting Church Hall, corner Provincial Road and Pacific Highway, Lindfield. Doors open at 7.10pm for an 7:40pm start. Visitors are welcome to attend any meeting. Click here for this year’s Program of Events.

Outings

We have a regular program of outings in and around Sydney, and we go away for long weekends twice each year. These events provide opportunities for members to get to know each other and to visit locations that provide photographic opportunities. For information about this year’s outings, click here.

Membership

Membership is open to any person who is interested in photography and accepts the Club’s objects and rules. An annual subscription is payable at the beginning of each calendar year. The subscription fee is currently $80 for adults and $40 for those under 25 years. (Fees are reduced to $40 and $20 respectively for members joining after 30 th June.).
