In the past Northside Creative Photography maintained a series of training material on basic photographic topics such as shutter speed, aperture and depth of field. Given the plethora of training material available in print and online as well as from workshops and colleges this support material has been condensed to photography tips.
While many photographers and camera clubs have regarded digital photography as a threat to the traditional way of doing things, at Northside Creative we have warmly embraced the digital age. The use of digital introduces efficiencies into the image production process as well as opportunities to add creativity to photographic expression.
We will be introducing a series of articles on digital photography techniques. The first of these is an instruction for members on preparing images for entry into electronic digital imaging contests.
Northside was one of the first photography clubs to acquire a data projector and replace slides with digital images. In response to many requests from other clubs an informative article on the aspects to consider with the purchase of a projector is provided.
