Brent Pearson - Environmental Travel Portraiture
Wednesday 15th February

Brent PearsonEnvironmental Portraiture – with a difference!

Brent Pearson is well known to many Sydney photographers for his very informative workshops and e-book “Night Photography and Light Painting. So well known is one of his beach sites that according to one dedicated night photographer it regularly looks like fairy land with the glow from so many screens on digital cameras lighting up the dark night.

There is something altogether different about the light quality in images taken at night and Brent will share some of his expertise in achieving some stunning results with off camera flash.

Brent has titled his talk “Environmental Travel Portraiture Using Off Camera Flash - Namibia a Case Study”. So be prepared for some very different travel photography. Get a glimpse here.

John SwainstonPortfolio Presentations

The presentation of 2012 portfolios celebrated the end of a year's hard work for some of our members.

Des Crawley commented that the quality of the work carried out in our club continued to rise and we were now half way there. From Des, that is high praise!

Michael Haylen took a bold stance with his collection of work.
