COPYRIGHTThe copyright of all images on this site belongs to the photographer. Under International Copyright Law you must not use, copy, modify, transmit, store, publish or distribute the images on this Website, or create another image from an image on this web site, without obtaining the prior consent of the legal holder of that intellectual property. If you wish to use an image on this site please contact the Webmaster identifying the image and the intended purpose (e.g. commercial, not for profit organisation or personal). Introduction TO THE GalleryPlease note that only members of Northside Creative Photography are permitted to have accounts. First time users should contact the Gallery Webmaster for an account. You will receive an email from the system. This contains your username and a link which you click on to generate a password. Note that if the link is split over two lines then it is necessary to copy and paste the two lines into the browser. Thereafter you simply login by navigating to the Photo Gallery, clicking on 'login' and entering your username and password. Note that after a period of inactivity you will need to login to the Gallery again. If you have forgotten your password, in the login window enter your username and click on "Send me my password." Your password will then be emailed to you. Members are encouraged to display award winning photos in the competition area of the Gallery. If you need to have your photo scanned give your it to Wal Lamberth at the end of the competition night. The purpose of the member's photo album area is to allow members to display their photographic work. The Gallery software permits maintenance of albums without assistance from the Webmaster. It is therefore important that members read and comply with the instructions. The software is very intuitive and has inbuilt safeguards to prevent user error. As a guide it is suggested that twelve is about the number of images to display. The purpose of the outings photo album area is to allow members to display images taken on club outings. Members load their images directly into the album without assistance from the Webmaster. There is a limit of ten images per member per outing. IMAGE PROTECTIONWhile images placed on this Website have the full protection of Copyright Law, members should be aware that the Internet is a global space and images may be used in ways that were not intended. Members should carefully consider the suitability of images for publication. For example care should be taken with the following:

UPLoading PhotosUploading of photos is the process of transferring photos from your computer to the Gallery album. The relevant albums are as follows.
Photo/s to be loaded should be prepared in accordance with Production of Images. Log in and navigate to the appropriate album from the above. Under 'Album Actions' click 'Add photos' When new window opens
Check that your photo/s appear correctly in the album. Normal Competition images Under your photo/s find 'Photo actions,' select 'Edit Text' and fill in the entries in the new window as follows.
Click 'Save' to finish. Member's album images Initially the album is not 'publicly' viewable and can only be seen by the userid after logging in. When the album is ready for viewing email the Gallery Webmaster. The 'Admin Options' (on bar) operates on the whole album and the 'Edit photo' (under photo) operates only on the selected photo. Some operations can be carried out from both areas but the 'Edit photo' option is safer for the novice and will be described here. Do not use operations which are not described here. For your photo/s under 'Photo actions' select 'Edit Text' and fill in the following.
Click 'Save' to finish. Under 'Admin options' select 'Properties' and update the Album Summary but do not change any other entries. Under 'Edit Photo' select ' Highlight Photo' and this photo becomes the thumbnail in the Members Gallery index. Note that the Gallery automatically picks the first photo to use as the highlight but this may be changed to any photo in the album. Please pick a landscape orientation photo since it looks nicer if they are all the same. Under 'Edit Photo' select 'Reorder Photo' to change the order of your photos. These are ranked numerically left to right, top to bottom viz.
Under the image to be moved select 'Reorder Photo' and in the new window select the number of the new location. It looks nice if the landscape and portrait photos are arranged on the same rows. Under 'Edit Photo' select ' Delete Photo' to delete the photo. Outing ImagesUnder your photo/s find 'Photo actions,' select 'Edit Text' and fill in the entries in the new window as follows.
