OTHER COMPETITIONS

Special Club Competitions: The committee may arrange one-off competitions and details will be provided in the newsletter. This may include photos taken on social outings and photo rallies or photographic portfolios.

FCC Top Shot: This is a competition for individuals run by the Federation of Camera Clubs (NSW) (FCC). Entry forms may be found on the FCC Website.

FCC Interclub: Our club participates in the FCC Interclub competitions and this will be announced in the newsletter.

National, International and Other Competitions: These are held in most state capitals, many regional centres and major Agricultural Shows. Details are published in Australian Photography magazine and are also available on the Australian Photographic Society (APS) Website.

Local Competitions: Photography can be entered in local art competitions such as:

• Willoughby Council Art Prize;
• St Ives Show and;
• Taralga Rodeo.

Warning: Beware of commercial competitions which ask you to assign your copyright to your work to the competition organiser. Read the fine print before entering any competition, and never assign your copyright to anyone else!
